Dr. Tiger is one of the most amazing human beings that I know. I was a client of his from 2001-2007 while I lived in San Francisco and did some phone therapy sessions in 2008. He helped me in more ways and more levels than I ever thought possible. I’ve had over 15 therapists/pyciatrists and none even come close to the insight and wisdom of myself I gained from my time with Dr. Tiger Devore. I wish I was in NYC so that I could see him in person at his practice. He had a way that you feel so comfortable, challenged, and geniunely cared about. He has helped me in my life overcome so many stumbling blocks and dark areas I thought I could not get out of and gave me the inspiration and the tools to get back up and not give up. I cannot say enough good things about Tiger. He is a wealth of knowledge in so many areas of life, spirituality and his fields of expertise. I am blessed to have had him as a therapist. It has made a huge change in my life I would not have been able to do without his help. Thank you for all you do for the betterment of humankind.

I just saw the piece on the Oprah Winfrey Network and I was much impressed by the variety of topics covered and the human element that poured from the screen. As a health care worker I get some hard questions that don’t always have one correct answer. Often the answer is left up to the choice of medical workers because of the fear of the patient and society’s willingness to ‘trust the doctor’ blindly. Often times I am left to consult with patients and their families because the M.D. does not know the words to say and urges me along with the phrase ” Go talk to them, Dixon, you are so good with awkward moments”. I admit that I use simple words and enlist humor when it is appropriate because it can relief the edgieness people are feeling. Now that I have seen this program and have first-hand testimony from people who register in their own unique forms of gender I can present them with some A-Plus resources and words of knowledge and understanding. Thanks to Ms. Winfrey and Dr. Devore for flying the flag.

    Sincerly,

Dr. Devore- Thank you so much for all the work you do to inform the public. I just watched you on The Truth About My Sex on OWN and it was inspirational. The struggles that people with genital disorders have to go through is appalling because most of it is based on ignorance and what society thinks is normal. Whatever normal is. Thank you for everything you do in making people aware that there is more than black and white.

Dr Devore – what essential, wonderful work you do, helping people to heal and love themselves again and to help others with the fears that get socially conditioned into us. I’m always keen to learn more about our humanity: thank you for further expanding my awareness through your knowledge and compassion.
