This documentary looks at the scientific and cultural differences and similarities between men and women, boys and girls, and introduces Intersex as a viable identity for some who don’t fit either category.

This documentary profiles “Kristi” and her family as they confront the difficulties of facing having raised an Intersex child and the hard choices that were made in her care,  some good and some bad.   Dr Tiger Devore is interviewed as both expert and Intersex person with his own personal history of treatment choices and outcomes.

Dr Tiger Devore is a featured expert on a panel to discuss the phenomenon of unsafe sex practices among gay men in San Francisco at a time when HIV was being passed between gay men at record rates.

Dr Devore was employed by several television morning shows as a relationship expert to speak on topics as disparate as “Torchbearers;  when it’s time to let go of an old relationship”  to  ”How to be single and still celebrate Valentine’s Day.”  This series highlights Dr Devore’s ability to speak on many subjects regarding sex and relationships beyond the specialized topic of gender and Intersex.

This television talk show brings individuals who don’t fit neatly into the categories of “Male” or “Female” on stage with an expert (Dr. Tiger Devore) who helps them to sort out their medical histories and their sense of identity.

Dr Tiger Devore in his first television appearance coming out as an Intersex person.   According to John Money PhD from the Johns Hopkins Hospital Psychohormonal research Unit,  this is the first time an Intersex person was on television talking about that experience and identity.
